The ordinance would simply insert the term "service animals" <br />instead of guide dogs in two locations, Section SOland 701. <br /> <br />The City Council, on July 22, 1996, held a public hearing for a first.reading of this ordinance and <br />continued the hearing for the second reading to the August 12, 1996 City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve the ordinance amending the City Code Sections <br />501.05 and 701.03K relating to exemptions for service animals. .
