Daulton request for a variance to the shoreland, <br />wetland, and atormwater management section of the City Code <br />at 3030 Little Bay Road. <br /> <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />. The Daulton's live at 3030 Little Bay Road (Iakeshore lot on Lake Owasso). <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />This lot is subject to the standards and requirements of the shoreland overlay <br />district. <br /> <br />~ . <br /> <br />. The Daulton's would like to build an in-ground wading pool in their back yard, <br />approximately 36 feet from the ordinary high water line. <br /> <br />. The MnDNR interprets pools to be accessory structures, subordinate to a <br />principal use and required to be located at or greater than normal structure <br />setbacks (75 feet from ordinary high water line). <br /> <br />. In order to build their pool, the Daulton's are requesting a 39 foot variance to the <br />shoreline setback requirements. <br /> <br />Development Summary: <br /> <br />Mr. Daulton owns a lot located at 3030 Little Bay Road in Roseville. The property is <br />zoned R-1 Single Family Residential and is located in the shoreland management <br />overlay district for Lake Owasso. The Daulton's would like to add a 14' x 28' wading <br />pool to their back yard. As currently designed. the pool would be located within 36 feet <br />of the ordinary high water line. <br /> <br />I <br />
