<br />EXTRACTOFMrrNUTESOFMEETmG <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MrrNNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereot: a regular meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, <br />Minnesota, on Monday, the 23rd day of September, 1996, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present:, <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Member <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION V ACATmG PART OF <br />ROSE PLACE EAST OF SNELLmG CURVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after two weeks published and posted notice, the City Council held a public hearing to <br />detennine whether or not a portion of said street in the City ofRoseville should be vacated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that by reason of changes in the use of the surrounding land, it would be <br />beneficial to the public interest to vacate a portion of said street; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota, <br />hereby vacates that part of Rose Place described as follows: <br /> <br />THA T PART OF ROSE PLACE ABUTTING LOT 1, BLOCK 1 WEmHOLZERS <br />ADDmON DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Commencing at the Northeast corner of said lot 1; thence North along the extended East lot <br />line ofsaid lot 1 a distance of 28.0 feet; thence Westerly and parallel with the North lot line of <br />said lot 1 a distance of 172.42 feet; thence continue Southwesterly to a point 15.0 feet North <br />of the Northwest comer of said lot 1 extended Northerly; thence Southerly along said extended <br />line to said Northwest corner of said lot 1; thence Easterly along the North lot line of said lot <br />1 to the Northeast corner of said lot 1 and there terminating. <br />
