<br /> <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />DATE: 08-11-97 <br />ITEM NO: c- 5 <br />proved: Agenda Section: <br />& Consent <br />SET HEARINGS FOR TWIN LAKES COMPREHENSIVE <br />PLAN AMENDMENT (P.F.2867) <br /> <br /> <br />1.0 Background: <br /> <br />1.1 On February 10, 1997, the City Council postponed the Public Hearing and action <br />on the Twin Lakes Parkway Comprehensive Plan amendment because the City had <br />begun an EAW for the entire Twin Lakes area. The Council continued the hearing <br />to June 9,1997. <br /> <br />1.2 Now that the decisions have been made on the Twin Lakes EAW, hearings on the <br />Twin Lakes Parkway location and the Comprehensive Plan amendment are <br />possible. The earliest that the hearing could be scheduled is September, 1997. <br />With Council approval, staff will schedule such hearings for the September 10 <br />Planning Commission meeting, and the September 22 City Council meeting. <br /> <br />2...0 Suggested Action: <br /> <br />2.1 By motion, officially set the hearing and decision process on the Twin Lake <br />Business Park Parkway Comprehensive Plan amendment for September 10 and <br />Septefmber 22, 1997, and direct staff to provide new notice and hearing, <br /> <br />Staff Report by: Dennis Welsch, 490-2232 <br /> <br />M:\RCA\TWINLAKE.RCA <br />
