March 1:: 1997

Dennis Welsch
Community Development Director
CITY OF ROSEVILLE
2660 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, MN 55113

Re: Comments Regarding EAW for Centre Pointe Business Park

Dear Mr. Welsch:

I am writing to comment on the Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for the Centre
Pointe Business Park project. I am very concerned that the project has the potential for
significant environmental effects on our neighborhood and community and, therefore, requires
further study and analysis to eliminate or minimize those potential effects. Among the potential
significant environmental effects resulting from the project are impacts to traffic, air quality,
public infrastructure and property values.

Based on the close proximity of Centre Pointe Business Park and Twin Lakes Business Park
and the significant and obvious connections and interrelation between the two projects, I
request, that these two projects be examined together through the preparation of an
Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to analyze and study their potential cumulative impacts
to the environment, particularly in the areas of traffic, air quality, and impact on roads and other
public infrastructure. I urge the City to gather additional information to assess the impacts of
these projects on the residential neighborhoods near the projects, including appropriate traffic
and air quality analysis.

I further request and urge that the City of Roseville schedule one or more public meetings, with
reasonable notice to the public, to permit the public to submit additional comment to the Centre
Pointe EAW.

/
The Centre Pointe and Twin Lakes Business Park projects will have long-range impacts to our)
community and our neighborhoods. I urge you to carefully and comprehensively review the
pot~ntial significant environmental effects from these projects before proceeding with th~
proJects. ...-rT +)Lu~'~ Ofr,.. c+-\) ~
. - . l'^: _~ V,?Jwe~0S' ~J- t-~.J-~.)- k
Sincerely, (u.II'--.l\ [",q/'-I/'-Q.. .iL~-'- 0t~\~II2-e.'I\. /1=(.0.. \ lLQ..c;./ )
-\.\ @e. ~/ C'^, 6-\1' (}'-/' q,
~ (}II _\ \ e<) 01/'- ~ C'\ f;,/l- s.,)..~' , ~D. \pQ..V'-
_ '. d j I 'Srl..y.I" c,v..r . \L-c;Y- . 0-e...o- I~ \..... c"
~ J v- ,-",()..J <2.. ~~ fl I\i\"" -\,,- 'f ~
SA1na ure , ) I} r> ()J ~ \\ 0 ~\::- -rtw- t.l 0 ~ ~\0Q
KALPlt W; )1oJz~V\.~~ ,)O/C;..t.-tJ.(,... rru\Si#\c...l, t-~\) 'y- ~ I -u.~ ,,1 af'-
Name - Printed ~ v I.^ \ -I ~ \
?O '~~- tJ FCA.i ~v. i e",-, i1\ eC>- v 9--j I S \.0 0 ~ ~1i'-::;" 1 .;-)\'
(Address) 'r r L ~ IV\ v t2.- ~ a...-
r-05<?vd\~ M tJ ')-~J)3 \,vv-.:.
