<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />cv <br />'to lC"\et? 7.~rr <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Monday, the <br />26th day ofJuly, 1999 at 6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Wiski (6:34 p.m.), Goedeke & Wall <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9670 <br />RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE DEVELOPMENT DEADLINE FOR <br />MENDOTA HOMES, INC. <br />REQUEST FOR A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AT <br />COUNTY ROAD C2 AND HIGHWAY 88 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mendota Homes, Inc. is requesting a 90-day extension to the development <br />deadline for the previously approved Planned Unit Development/Subdivision Agreement #1197 <br />for a planned unit development at the intersection of County Road C2 and Highway 88 (PF2891); <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council, on February 8, 1998, approved the terms and <br />conditions ofthe proposed development as contained in the PUD/Subdivision Agreement #1197, <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mendota Homes has been aggressively seeking financing for Phase I while <br />working with the City on construction of the Phase I 3D-unit project and completion of Phase II, <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the PUD Agreement states that the Developer is to commence development <br />activity (including issuance of a building permit) within one (1) year following the final approval <br />of this PUD, or request an extension of the development schedule, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Developer, Mendota Homes, is requesting the 90-day extension to the <br />development deadline to allow them to close on the property and finalize financing, and to obtain <br />grading and footing and foundation permits for construction. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota (the "City"), Ramsey County, Minnesota, that pursuant to City of Roseville <br />Planned Unit Development #1197, Mendota Homes, Inc. request for extension of a development <br />deadline for the planned unit development at the intersection of County Road C2 and Highway <br />88, be extended for an additional 90 days, from July 26,1999, to October 26,1999. <br />Page I of2 <br />
