McCarrons Blvd.
Roseville, MN 55113 ~

RE: STREET RECONSTRUCTION, CITY PROJECT P-97-03

Dear Mr. Jamma:

As part of the upcoming street project on North McCarrons Boulevard, the City will have the
contractor remove and replace the boulevard portion of residential driveways. The City
Engineering Department has examined all driveways for code compliance and existing and
proposed grades.

The City ofRoseville requires that all driveways be brought into compliance with City Code
during a permanent street upgrading. Driveways must be a minimum of five feet trom
neighboring property lines. Currently, the east edge of your driveway is approximately at your
east property line. In order to comply with City Code, this must be re-built to a point five feet
trom your east property line.

You may apply to vary trom City Code by applying for a "minor variance." I have enclosed an
application for a minor variance if you would prefer this option. If approved, your driveway
would be legal and no change of location would be necessary. If you have any questions
regarding a minor variance. please contact Roseville's City Planner, Kim Lee, at 490-2236.

~~.

Tony Thury
Project Coordinator

TATcy

Enclosures

\ 1...

DRIVE · ROSEVILLE .'
