EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Monday, the 28th day of July, 1997 at 6:30 P.M. The following members were present Mastel, Maschka (arrived late), Wiski, Wall and the following were absent Goedeke Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9429 RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE REVIEW PERIOD FOR VISION WORLD, INC. REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE AT 2277 HIGHWA Y 36 WEST WHEREAS, Vision World, Inc. has requested a variance from Section 1009.09, City Code, to allow the placement of a second ground sign on a corner lot at 2277 Highway 36 West (PF2924); and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on this request on July 9, 1997; and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission tabled action on the request because questions were raised during the hearing process and the applicant was not present to respond to the questions; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has continued the public hearing until August 13, 1997, to allow the applicant an opportunity to respond the questions raised regarding the request. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council') of the City of Roseville, Minnesota (the "City"), Ramsey County, Minnesota, that pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 15.99, the time line for agency review of the application of Vision World, Inc. request for a variance from Section 1009.09, City Code, to allow the placement of a second ground sign on a corner lot at 2277 Highway 36 West, be extended for 60 days, from August 18. 1997 to October 17. 1997.
