BACKGROUND <br /> <br />Vision World, Inc. Variance from Section 1009.09, City Code <br />Sellars Variance from Section 1016.16A, City Code <br />Skundberg Variance from Section 1004.02D, City Code <br /> <br />2.1 Vision World, Inc. is requesting a variance from Section 1009.09 to allow the <br />placement of a second ground sign on a corner lot for a tenant of the building at <br />2277 Highway 36 W. A public hearing on this request was held by the Planning <br />Commission on July 9,1997; however, the applicant was not present to respond to <br />questions raised at the public hearing. For this reason, action on the request was <br />tabled until the August 13, 1997, Planning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />2.2 Stuart Sellars and Carole Wedel Sellars are requesting a varial1ce from Section <br />1 016.16A to reduce the setback from the ordinary high water level (OHWL) of Lake <br />Josephine for the purpose of replacing a detached accessory structure with an <br />addition to the existing single family dwelling at 1199 Josephine Road. A public <br />hearing on this request was held by the Planning Commission on July 9, 1997. <br />Prior to the scheduled public hearing, the applicants requested in writing that action <br />on the request be tabled in order to provide the applicant with an opportunity to <br />address City staffs concerns and develop a proposal that would be recommended <br />for approval.
