<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on <br />Monday, the 28th day of July, 1997 at 6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present:Mastel, Maschka (arrived late), Wiski, Wall <br /> <br />the following were absent: Goedeke <br /> <br />Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9431 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE REVIEW PERIOD FOR <br />ROBERT SKUNDBERG REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE AT <br />1742 AL TA VISTA DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Robert Skundberg has requested a variance from Section 1004.020, <br />City Code, to reduce the minimum lot area and minimum lot width for the purpose of <br />splitting a through lot into two parcels at 1742 Alta Vista Drive (PF2926); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on this <br />request on July 9, 1997; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission tabled action on the request <br />because questions were raised during the review process regarding access on Dale Street <br />N, the extension of utilities to the new building site, and 'the soil conditions in the area <br />created by filling during the realignment of Dale Street North; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has continued the public hearing until August <br />13, 1997, to allow the applicant an opportunity to provide the following additional <br />information to the City: <br /> <br />1. Written permission from Ramsey County for a driveway on to Dale Street N <br />from the new parcel (eastern portion of lot). <br /> <br />2. Written documentation from a soils engineer, including a soil borings report, <br />that the new parcel is suitable for construction, or identifying what remedies <br />are needed to correct the soils. <br />
