One of the property owners (Tschida) is replacing <br />an existing driveway on his property. All of the variances are being requested in <br />order to allow the continuance of driveways which are set back less than five feet <br />from the side property line. <br /> <br />It is the policy of the City of Roseville to issue blanket minor variances for driveway <br />side yard setbacks in conjunction with street improvements within the community, <br />provided the property is located in an R-1, Single Family Residential District, and <br />used for residential purposes. This policy applies to the Schotl, DeHaven, and <br />Svendsen requests. <br /> <br />It is also the policy of the City of Roseville to issue blanket minor variances for <br />driveway side yard setbacks when nonconforming driveways are replaced, provided <br /> <br />Blanket Variances - RCA (06/23/97) - Page 1 of 3 <br />
