<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />ofRoseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 4th day of February, <br />2002, at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Schroeder, Klausing, Maschka and <br />Kysylyczyn, and the following were absent: none. <br /> <br />Member Kough introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9975 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE CITY OF ROGERS <br />RELATING TO <br />COOPERATIVE PURCHASING OF ATHLETICS FACILITIES LIGHTING <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville <br />does hereby authorize the City Manager to enter into a joint powers agreement pursuant <br />to Minnesota Statute Section 471.59 (Joint Exercise of Powers) for the purchase of <br />electric lighting systems for athletic facilities. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member <br />Kysylyczyn, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Kough, Schroeder, Klausing, Maschka and Kysylyczyn, and the following voted against <br />the same: none. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
