<br />I request a Variance to install a wood fence higher than the <br />allowed 4' along the side of my yard that fronts County Road C. <br />I am replacing my existing wood fence which has weathered to the <br />point where it needs to be replaced and would like to raise the <br />height. The reason for the height increase is kind-of ironic, but is <br />needed for our family's privacy. As you know, Acorn Park has <br />been upgrade with new facilities that have increased its use <br />beyond our expectations. The park now is used from 6 a.m. to 10 <br />p.m. This is really good for the City and immediate area, however, <br />not for our family. As part of park alterations, the basketball court <br />and parking area have been moved to the area of the park across <br />the street ftom my property. The increased use in this area has <br />negatively impacted on the privacy of our back yard activities. <br />Therefore, I would like to install a higher fence, not to exceed the <br />maximum limit of 6.5 feet, along the side of my yard that fronts <br />County Road C (See my site plan). <br /> <br /> <br />
