<br />4J1 STAFF RECOMMENDA TION <br /> <br />4.1 Based on the findings outlined in Section 3.1 of this report, staff recommends <br />approval of the request for vacation of that portion of Terrace Drive adjacent to Lots <br />17 and 18, Block 5, Kroiss Lakeview Second Addition (797 Terrace Drive and 801 <br />Terrace Drive). <br /> <br />M PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br /> <br />5.1 On November 12, 1997, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the <br />request. No residents present commented on this request. <br /> <br />5.2 The Planning Commission recommended approval of the request for vacation of <br />that portion of Terrace Drive adjacent to Lots 17 and 18, Block 5, Kroiss Lakeview <br />Second Addition (797 Terrace Drive and 801 Terrace Drive), based on the findings <br />outlined in Section 3.1 of this report <br /> <br />~ SUGGESTED ACTION <br /> <br />6.1 By resolution, vacate that portion of the Terrace Drive right-of-way adjacent to Lots <br />17 and 18, Block 5, Kroiss Lakeview Second Addition (797 Terrace Drive and 801 <br />Terrace Drive), based on the findings outlined in Section 3.1 of this report, and with <br />the provision that a utility and drainage easement be retained over this portion of <br />Terrace Drive. <br /> <br />Attachments: notification map; sketch of right-of-way to be vacated; notice of public hearing; legal description <br />of right-of-way to be vacated; photograph of area. <br /> <br />60-day Time Limit: application submitted on September 25, 1997; application accepted as complete on <br />October 13, 1997; decision deadline is December 12, 1997. <br /> <br />Prepared by: Kim L.
