<br />OCT-20-1997 11:03 <br /> <br />CITY OF SHOREUIEW <br /> <br />P.04/04 <br /> <br />(8) There shall be no exterior evidence of the presence of the home occupation <br />on the premises. <br /> <br />(9) The home occupation shall not occupy more than 20% of the dwelling <br />unit's floor area. <br /> <br />(D) Planning Review. The City Planner shall waive compliance; or issue or deny a <br />home occupation pennit based upon a statement of findings relative to the <br />ability of the applicant to satisfy the appropriate standards. If the City <br />Pl3IU1er's decision is to issue the permit, a notice of intent shall be sent to all <br />propeny owners within 150 feet of the perimeter of the applicant's property. <br />The notice shall request that written comments be forwarded to the City <br />Planner within ten days of the date of the notice. Upon expiration of the <br />comment period, the City Planner shall make a final detennination. Property <br />owners who have submitted written comments shall be given written notice of <br />the Planner's fmal determination. Failure to give a mailed notice or defects in <br />the notice shall not invalidate the review process provided that a bona fide <br />attempt has been made to contact the property owners. The applicant or other <br />aggrieved party may appeal the decision of the City Planner by giving written <br />notice to the Planner within ten working days from the date of the notice of the <br />Planner's final determination. Appeals will be forWarded to the Planning <br />Commission for review and recommendations to the City Council. <br /> <br />(E) City Council Review. City Council shall review the appeal within thirty days of <br />receipt of the Planning Commission's recommendations. The City Council may <br />attach reasonable conditiens to any authorization given to conduct a home <br />occupation. Conditions attached to approval shall be designed to ensure that the <br />home occupation is cOInpatible with surrounding residential uses. The City <br />Council may revoke home occupation permits if there is a violation of the <br />conditions of the pennit or standards of this regulation. <br /> <br />207.051 Seasonal Residential Sales Event Pennit <br /> <br />(A) General. Except as provided herein, no person shall host a seasonal residential <br />sales event within the City of Shoreview without obtaining a pennit. The <br />Shoreview City Planner is authori2ed to waive the permit requirement if the <br />applicant does not conduct more than two (2) seasonal residential sales events <br />per calendar year and each such event does not exceed four (4) consecutive <br />days. <br /> <br />(B) Application. An applicant for a seasonal residential sales event pennit shall <br />provide the following infonnation to the City Planner: <br /> <br />I.
