-11

MEMORANDUM

TO:

Steve Sarkozy .
Dennis Welsc~

Community Development

FROM:

SUBJECT:

Request for Proposal for the Roseville Activity Center site:-'

An item has been scheduled on the February 21, 1995 Work Session to discuss the
request for proposal process for the Roseville Activity Center site. The deadline for
submittal is 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 1995. As of the writing this memo,
staff has not received any proposals yet. However, staff has had discussions
with several potential developers and would anticipate receiving several proposals
by the deadline. Community Development staff will verbally summarize the
proposals received at the February 21 Work Session.

The review schedule outlined in the RFP provides for staff review and analysis over
the next month. The City staff will then provide a detailed report to the City
Council at the March 21, 1995 Work Session and the April 10, 1995 regular
Council meeting. It is anticipated that the City Council could then make a developer
selection at the April 10, 1995 City Council meeting. Once the developer is
selected, then the concept will be refined during April and early May with a formal
application for PUD approval being considered by the Planning Commission and
City Council in June.
