EXTRACT OF MWUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Monday, the 26th day of January, 1998, at 6:30 P.M. The following members were present_; and the following members were absent _ Council Member _ introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE WITHDRAWAL OF AN APPLICATION FOR A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT BY EVEREST DEVELOPMENT COMPANY (HAMLlNE AVENUE PROPERTIES) WHEREAS, Everest Development, Ltd., on behalf of its affiliate, Hamline Avenue Properties, LLC, requested an amendment to the City Comprehensive Plan to change the land use designation of seven parcels of land (addressed as 2218,2234,2236, and 2240 Hamline Avenue) from Medium Density Residential (MR) to Limited Business (LB); and WHEREAS, the City's Planning Commission, after due notice, held a public hearing on this request on Wednesday, January 14, 1998, and after said public hearing and discussion, adopted a recommendation that said request be denied, based on the findings outlined in Section 5.1 of the Request for Planning Commission action; and WHEREAS, City Council action on the request was scheduled for the January 26, 1998, City Council meeting; and WHEREAS, Everest Development, Ltd. submitted a letter dated January 16, 1998, withdrawing its request for an amendment to the City's Comprehensive Plan and asking that the application be removed from the January 26, 1998, City Council agenda; and WHEREAS, all publicized and distributed notices of public hearing for this request indicated that City Council action on the request was scheduled for January 26, 1998; and WHEREAS, it the policy of the City Council to take official action on the withdrawal of applications for land use action.
