<br />January 10, 1998 <br /> <br />City of Roseville <br />2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Roseville, Minnesota 55113 <br /> <br />Re: Minor Variance~ Driveway <br /> <br />To Whom It May Concern: <br /> <br />We built this house at 1132 Transit Ave. West in 1968 and at that time had a blacktop <br />driveway to include a 12ft wide section along side of our garage to facilitate the parking <br />of a motor-home behind the front building line of our house. Recently we purchased a <br />31 ft Travel Supreme 5th wheeler travel trailer, which requires a wider space to back into <br />and park next to our garage. We are therefore requesting a minor variance to facilitate <br />this wider space beyond the 5ft property line code. Our street is scheduled to have curb <br />and gutter along with a new street to be constructed this summer. We plan to have our <br />driveway replaced at the same time (our present driveway is 30 years old) and would like <br />to make this change in size.
