It has been found that $_1,345.09_ in additional charges will become due, if your application is approved by the city council, It is our standard procedure to collect these charges at the time of recording of a legal document or upon application for a building permit, whichever takes place first. These additional charges (see city code ordinances) are collected by the city because the property was not assessed in full at the time of levy or because of the applicant's action which created a situation of utilizing the property to a higher degree then at the time oflevy. The charges calculated are nonnally based on the rate of assessment prevalent at the time they were levied, plus the accrued interest from that time to present, at the rate of interest charged at that time.
