H,M. ~ <br />I .Y4U'\.t , <br />L <br /> <br />February 3, 1998 <br /> <br />\[J~\\j~~ <br />Cr~~1 <br />Y \.JG" \ <br /> <br />Dear Karl: <br /> <br />The Ramsey County Public Works Department is requesting an interim use permit from <br />the City of Roseville to allow concrete crushing and concrete production in the Ramsey <br />County storage yard located off of Larpenteur A venue at Kent Street. The County is <br />reconstructing Larpenteur A venue from Cleveland A venue to dale Street over the next <br />several years. The intent of this reconstruction is to utilize and recycle the materials from <br />the existing Larpenteur A venue in the new construction. Several concerns over impacts <br />caused by these operations at the Kent Street site were brought up at the recent City <br />Council work session. Ramsey County has reviewed these concerns and proposes the <br />following conditions at the Kent Street site. <br /> <br />General Conditions <br /> <br />1. Ramsey County will plant up to 40 pine trees (4-6 foot) on the north berm of the <br />property. <br /> <br />2. Ramsey County will repair the erosion near the culverts that drain the site on the north <br />side of the property. <br /> <br />3. Ramsey County will limit all general use hours from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm Monday- <br />Friday. Under unusual conditions the County may be granted additional time under <br />permission of the Roseville Public Works Director. <br /> <br />Special Conditions for Larpenteur A venue Concrete Operations <br /> <br />1. Concrete crushing will only be allowed between April 1st and May 15th.
