It <br />is our opinion that it will be feasible from an. engineering standpoint to ~ddress both / <br /> <br />issues. , ~ L{,..~6.J\f;,.... A~tP'fr~ ~!- ip ~ <br /> <br />SANITARY SEWER /" vJ~1vh'l (7t1 /tIu:JV~ ~ -~- <br />M tA-r; ~-- ~\l# <br /> <br />We examined the manhole located east of the tracks and just off the NE corner of the <br />proposed expansion. It appears the 12" line to the north and 6" line to the south are <br />dead-end stubs. The 6" line from the east was flowing and appeared to be at least one <br />foot above the manhole bottom. The invert is approximately 934.40. The four-inch <br />pipe was dry and at about the same or higher invert elevation. No bulkhead could be <br />detected with a 25 foot metal tape in the four-inch line. <br /> <br />A general alignment for the relocated sewer is attached. The final alignment would not <br />cut through the garage as shown and can be modified with input from the owner and <br />architect. It is feasible to design a 10" (or 12" if necessary for grade) pipe that would <br />meet Ten State Standards and be approvable by the City. <br /> <br />Please note that working conditions are constrained for the alignment shown. In <br />addition, the service for the existing metal building appears to exit the south side of the <br />building and connect to the line being considered for abandonment. <br /> <br /> <br />EQUAL OPPORnJNITY EMPLDYER <br />
