The variances are being requested in order to allow the continuance of driveways which are set back less than five feet from the side property line. 2.3 It is the policy of the City of Roseville to issue blanket minor variances for driveway side yard setbacks in conjunction with street improvements within the community, provided the property is located in an R-1, Single Family Residential District, and used for residential purposes.
