<br />, <br />, <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MmUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />* * << * * * * * <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 27h day of April, 1998, <br />at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following members were absent: <br /> <br />Council Member <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. xxxx <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A <br />PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR THE ACQUISITION OF 2668 LEXINGTON AVENUE <br />AS PART OF THE HOUSING REPLACEMENT PROGRAM WITHIN THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE HOUSING IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville adopted a housing replacement program within the <br />Roseville Housing Improvement Program which includes the acquisition of undersized, <br />outdated, or non-code compliant properties that could not be economically rehabilitated or <br />sold on the open market, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the goal of the program is to increase the property values and improve <br />the value and aesthetics of neighborhoods, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parcel [Parcel # 02-29-23-33-0049] located at 2668 Lexington <br />Avenue is in poor to fair condition, outdated and undersized with a 1,036 square foot <br />home, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the owner of the parcel, Mary Johnson, is voluntarily willing to sell the <br />home, which she currently occupies, to the City of Roseville for $64,800, and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville City Council, <br />acting within its authorization as the Housing and Redevelopment Authority for the City of <br />Roseville, does hereby approve and authorize the execution of a purchase agreement by <br />the City Manager for the acquisition of 2668 Lexington Avenue [Parcell.D. # 02-29-23-33- <br />0049] from Mary Johnson for $64,800; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOL VEO that funds to acquire 2668 Lexington Avenue come <br />from the City of Roseville Housing Fund 574 in the amount of the purchase price and to <br />cover legal and closing costs. <br /> <br />Resolution <br /> <br />- Page 1 of 2 <br />
