RESOLUTION NO. 9567 DENYING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AN AUTO SERVICE INSTALLATION/ACCESSORY FACILITY AT 2561 SNELLING AVENUE NORTH WHEREAS, National Tire and Bauery has requested a conditional use pennit to construct and operate a retail auto accessory sales and service facility at 2561 Snel1ing Avenue North. owned by the Knights of Columbus, and legally described as: East 395 feet of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeas( Quarter of Section 9. Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, except the North 767 feet and except the South 335 ft:et thereof (subjec( to State Trunk Hwy 51, according to the US Govt survey thereof, Ramsey County, MN) [PIN 092923110073]. WHEREAS, the City Council, at its July 27. 1998, meeting denied that request by a vote of 4-1 ; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to set forth its reasons for denial; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by [he City Council of the City of Roseville: The City Council hereby sets forth the following fmdings as its reasons for denying the above application: 1. The National Tire and Battery application for a conditional use permit to construct an au(o service installation/accessory facility at 2561 Snelling Avenue North is incompatible with the comprehensive plan, the James Addition Task Force plan amendment recommendations and the requisite fin~ings for a conditional use pennit in a B-2 zoning district.
