To Whom It May Concern,
This letter is reguarding the variance application for Suburban True Value
Hardware 1930 No. Lexington Ave. Roseville, MN 55113. Included are copies of
the plans for the proposed project.
The basis for the expansion is to compete in our changing industry. As
new competitors open stores in and around the area, we find oursevles looking
for new ways to compete for customers. To remain competitive, the methods of
purchasing and stocking the hardware store have changed. We now must buy
in large bulk quanities from manufacturers and merchandise the store in new
ways. These circumstances require much more space for warehousing and
display. The expansion will enable us to remain competitive, and improve our
image inside the store. Our customers will be able to move more freely
throughout the store. We can continue to improve our customer services and
successfully compete in the future.
Throughout the planning of this project, it has been of great concern that
we do not create environmental changes. The parking at the store will remain as
it is: Good flow, Convenient, Efficient and risk free for everyone.

Thank You Very Much,

~jo/~

David M.
