The City of Roseville is proposing text amendments to the <br />City Code regarding minor variances and creating standards for issuance of a <br />setback permit. <br /> <br />Chair Harms opened the hearing and requested Kim Lee to provide a summary <br />of the ordinance proposed in the staff report dated October 14, 1998. <br /> <br />Member Mulder asked that the clarification be made regarding #11 - who <br />actually approves the administrative decision (the Community Development <br />Director or the Development Review Committee). The staff will consult with the <br />City Attorney and correct this in the draft. <br /> <br />Member Klausing asked that the appeal and variance procedure be clarified. Is it <br />. necessary to hold a hearing at the Planning Commission before Council <br />approval. The staff will clarify and correct this in the draft ordinance. <br /> <br />There being no further comment, Chair Harms closed the hearing. <br /> <br />Motion: Member Mulder moved, seconded by Member Rhody, to recommend <br />approval of the proposed ordinance (An Ordinance Amending Sections 602.06, <br />1012.07, 1013.02C and 1014.03 and Creating Section 1013.05 of the Roseville <br />City Code), and further that the City Council set the fee for setback permit <br />applications at $25, with the understanding that staff will clarify #11 and the <br />appeal process. <br /> <br />Roll call vote: <br />Ayes: 7, Mulder, Rhody, Wilke, Olson, Klausing, Cunningham, Harms <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carries 7-0. <br /> <br />1 <br />
