The Minor Variance Bo:ud may recommend approval of a minor variance <br />to the drive'Nay 'Nidth restrictions of subsection 703.04 B of this Code <br />'Nhen, in the judgment of the Minor Vari::mce Board, one or more of the <br />follm.A.'ing conditions exist relative to the drive'Nay: <br /> <br />a. Unsafe conditions due to motor vehicle speed or volume on or the <br />site distance from the adjacent roadway. <br />b. J\n unusually short distance from the road'Nay to the garage or <br />other circumstances that prevent normal maneuvering of motor <br />vehicles 'Nithin the subsection 703.01 B, of this Code, width <br />restrictions. <br />c. The existing nonconforming dri'.'e'::ay provides unique structural <br />support to adjacent lands or facilities. <br />d. Other unusual conditions that 'Nould result in extreme a practical <br />hardship ab&ent the requested variance. <br /> <br />Section 1014.03. Fees. To defray administrative cost of processing applications for <br />rezoning, variances, conditional use permits, setback permits. vacations of streets or <br />alleys or building relocation, a fee shall be paid by the applicant in an amount set by the <br />City Council and kept on file in the City Manager's office. Fees shall be payable at the <br />time applications are filed with the City Manager and are not refundable unless <br />application is withdrawn prior to referral to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Section 3. Blanket Minor Variance Provisions Eliminated. The blanket minor <br />variance procedure is hereby eliminated. <br /> <br />Section 4. Effective Date.
