1012.08: MINOR CHANGES TO APPROVED PLANS:

A. Development Review Committee: For any permit requiring development approval from the
City, such as a subdivision, site plan review, conditional use permit or sign design, minor
changes to the location, placement and height of structures or outdoor use areas may be
authorized by the Development Review Committee, if such change is required by
engineering or other circumstances not foreseen at the time the final plan was approved and
filed with the Director of Community Development.

B. Minor Changes: Before approving minor changes, the Development Review Committee must
find that such changes neither cause any aspect of the project to fail to comply with
applicable code requirements nor materially change any important representations made to
the City and surrounding residents during the original approval process.

C. Major Change: If the Development Review Committee finds that a proposed change is not a
minor change, the change shall be considered either an amendment to the original plan or a
new application and shall require review by the Planning Commission and City Council as
established in the appropriate sections ofthis Code. (Ord. 1100,8-26-1991; amd. 1995 Code)
