Truax replied that <br />they will have sixty allocated to The G~TI, with ninety actually <br />being available. In addition, he pointed out that there is <br />signficant parking in the rear that is currently unused. Truax <br />pointed out that The Gym's peak hours are different from the <br />adjacent businesses. <br /> <br />Stokes asked as to whether parking requirements are different <br />between warehouses, businesses, etc. Dahlgren replied that yes, <br />in this case it is five per one thousand, and that the applicants <br />meet that requirement. <br /> <br />Johnson asked what would happen if the parking turned out to be a <br />problem. Dahlgren replied that the area in the back is the same <br />property, and that it could easily handle a major parking influx. <br />He reiterated that the peak is different for this type of gym <br />use. <br /> <br />,- <br /> <br />Cushman asked who is responsible for the parking in this <br />situation. Dahlgren replied that the owner allocates the parking <br />spaces, and the City monitors to make sure that the uses are, <br />indeed, appropriate. <br /> <br />Goedeke asked how the signage was going to be used. <br />replied he wanted one on the rear, one adjacent to B-2, <br />small one over the entrance. <br /> <br />Truax <br />and a <br /> <br />Berry pointed out that the sign would have to conform with all <br />codes. The applicant did state he had met with Mr. Beseth <br />preliminarly. <br /> <br />DeBenedet moved, Goedeke seconded, that The G~TI - Roseville, Inc. <br />request for Special Use Permit at 2434 Prior Avenue North be <br />approved. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Maschka, Berry, Stokes, DeBenedet, <br />Goedeke and Moeller. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Planning File 1812 <br />C-: G. ~Rein request to amend all business zones by adding "Dry <br />Cleaning Processing" as a permitted use. <br /> <br />Presentation <br />Dahlgren pointed out that when the ordinance was first developed <br />in 1959, the dry cleaning process was far different than it is <br />today. He pointed out that processing can be done today in a <br />very clean and safe manner. He pointed out that the ordinance <br />only allows drop offs at this point in time. <br /> <br />Bill Sikora, from C. G. Rein, proceeded to discuss the specifica- <br />tions relating to the new modifications, and did make one modifi- <br />cation in the ordinance. <br />
