<br />'7-1 1~q <g <br /> <br />July 13, 1998 <br /> <br />To Roseville City Council and City Planning Department, <br /> <br />This letter accompanies an application for a minor variance to allow us to build a home on lots 9 <br />and 10, Garcellon' s addition to St Paul located on Lake Street just north of Roselawn Avenue. <br /> <br />The variance involves changing the front and backyard setbacks to half their normal amount in <br />order to allow a house of average size be built. Without a variance the building pad would be a <br />triangle too small to build any structure including a house. <br /> <br />We are requesting that the front yard setback be halved aligning our building pad with the home <br />next door on the south and the backyard setback be halved because both adjacent houses do not <br />conform to the current code.
