Pursuant <br />to a contract for deed betWeen Preferred Builders and the City (copy enc1osed)~ you were <br />obligated to substantially complete specified improvements on the above-referenced <br />property by September 23~ 1999. <br /> <br />A recent inspection of the property indicates that those specified improvements are not <br />substantially complete as contractually required and consequently it is the City~s position <br />that Preferred Builders is in default under the Contract for Deed. <br /> <br />The City is willing to grant an extension from the September 23~ 1999 completion date to <br />allow Preferred Builders additional time to meet its contractual obligations, conditioned <br />on the following: <br /> <br />1) Submission by Preferred Builders to the City of a signed construction <br />schedule indicating when portions of the project are going to be complete. <br /> <br />2) Submission by Preferred Builders to the City of a landscape plan and security <br />as contractually required under the Contract for Deed. <br />
