y/v 7 -19

August 27, 1998

Ms Suzanne Wild
2960 Snelling Avenue
Roseville, Minnesota 55113

RE: Request for Variance: Increase Width of Commercial Curbcut [PF3059]

Dear Ms Wild:

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the Roseville City Council, at their meeting of
Monday, August 24, 1998, continued your request for a variance to increase the width of a
commercial curbcut (driveway opening) from 36 feet to 55 feet for the purpose of retaining off-
street parking spaces at 2960 Snelling Avenue North.

As you know, the Planning Commission at the August 1 ih hearing, recommended approval of
your variance request based on the staff findings.

However, as you were not available at the August 24th Council meeting to address your request
for a variance, the City Council determined it reasonable to continue your request to their next
regular meeting of Monday, September 14, 1998. In order to receive Council action on an
application, the applicant, or representative of the applicant, must be present at the City Council
meeting.

If you have any questions, or would like to discuss the Council action, please call me.

Sincerely,

Dennis P. Welsch (490-2232)
Community Development Director

Q:\Planning Files\3059_Wild\council action letter.doc
