.'

cr-2.~q~

September 2, 1998

To Whom it may concern;

In July, I received a letter from the City of Roseville
regarding a parking violation at my property. My
daughters had been parking on a grassy area adjacent
to and west of my actual concrete driveway. Having been
a long-time resident of Roseville (late 1940's), I was
very surpris8d to learn of this regulation.

In order to be in compliance, I contacted an asphalt
company and asked them to prepare an estimate for me.
Their drawing and estimate was for an add-on parking area
which would extend over to the property line (nine feet
west from the edge of my concrete driveway) .

I only learned this afternoon when I called Mr. Munson to
ask a few additional questions, that there is an
ordinance which prevents going up to the property line.
r went home and measured the width of my daughter's truck
and found it to be in excess of five feet. I then went
over and spoke with my neighbors to find out if they had
any objections and to ask them to give their consent in
writing.

I am hereby reque, sting that you allow me to have the
contractor make an eight foot wide asphalt parking pad,
allowing only one foot from the property line rather than
five feet.

Thank you for your consideration.

Very truly yours,

.~~;;.\,...."'- \:..-.....--y..,..j! ,~';""G-

Sharon Leete
801 Lovell Avenue
Roseville, MN 55113

PO 'd

96PP[L9~[9 'ON X~~

SS3~dX3 N~aIH3W~ Wd SS:~O IH~ 88-PO-d3S
