!~(d-.C{q,

April 2, 1999

TO:
FROM:

Lois Forsblad
Joan and Bob Bierscheid

Lois -- We would appreciate it if you would convey our feelings regarding
Cryogenic's request for expansion on Lexington Avenue. Here are our concerns:

]. One of the reasons we purchased property in Rose Villa was because of the
residential nature of the area. While we welcome neighboring businesses, we
believe this type of expansion infringes on the residential sUffOlmdings we
anticipated when we bought here. Tllis expansion would greatly detract from the
setting home owners expected when purchasing Rose Villa property.

2. Any time a clear view is obstructed, especially when it brings such a dramatic
difference, it is bound to lower the desirability for living adjacent to such a property,
and would also, we anticipate, lower the value of that property. (We would be
interested to learn how a real estate agent would value the townhome property for
resale after such a change.)

While we believe the final decision should rest with those townhome owners
adjacent to Cryogenics, we would discourage such an expansion as being
detrimental to the overall value and ambiance of the Rose Villa community.

Thank you.

If2b .Bfi}h .d'
~ terse et
1065 Harriet Lane

1 Bierscheid
065 Harriet Lane
