County Road C
Roseville, Minnesota 55113

RE: Emergency Outdoor StoP:lge of Shingles

Mr. Schuck:

Thank you for calling today in regards to outdoor storage in an 1-1 zone.

Essentially, the City Code prohibits outdoor storage in all 1-1 zones; it does not
allow for any permits or other relief. Storage must be indoors. See the attached
Section 1007.02B. All property owners in an 1-1 zone are required to comply with
this provision of the Code.

As a temporary emergency measure you may continue to store roofing shingles
on the back (south side) of the building until November 1, 1998. The reason for
this emergency measure is to assist contractors, suppliers and home owners to
repair damage from hail and wind storms this summer.

Thank you for your cooperation and good luck finding nearby interior storage.

Sincerely,

Dennis P.
