<br />.. <br /> <br />~. <7J)O <br />;~ <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL DISCUSSION/DIRECTION <br /> <br />Department Approval: <br /> <br />DATE: 02/14/00 <br />ITEM NO: C-4 <br /> <br />Agenda Section: <br />Consent <br /> <br />Re-affirmation of Minor Subdivision for Rollins Leasing Corporation, <br />2507 Walnut Street (PF3091) <br /> <br />Manager Approved: <br /> <br /> <br />1.0 Background <br /> <br />1.1 The Rollins Leasing Corporation subdivision which corrected the lot line between two <br />five acre parcels was previously approved on December 14, 1998. The Code requires <br />that the subdivision be recorded within sixty (60) days of the Council's approval. <br /> <br />1.2 The property was to be sold after the approval. No recording occurred, awaiting <br />closing on the property. The property did not selLat that time. <br /> <br />1.3 Rollins has a new buyer for the site and includes the new (December 14, 1998) lot <br />survey in the purchase. <br /> <br />1.4 No changes have occurred to the site; the survey is still accurate. <br /> <br />2.0 Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends re-affirmation that the minor subdivision correcting the east-west property line <br />between the two parcels at the Rollins Leasing Corporation site continues to meet the requirements <br />of the Code and must be recorded within sixty (60) days of the Council decision. <br /> <br />3.0 Suggested City Council Action <br /> <br />By motion, approve Rollins Leasing Corporation's request for a minor subdivision to realign the <br />east-west property line between the parcel at 2507 Walnut Street North and the property north <br />of2511 \Valnut Street North, with the survey to be recorded within sixty (60) days of the <br />Council decision. <br /> <br />Prepared by: Dennis Welsch (490.2232) <br />Attachments: 1) Copy of origina112/14/98 RCA and sketches; 2) Copy of January 20, 1999 letter to Don Lelich <br /> <br />Cc: Kristi Riley, Barna, Guzzy, Steffen, 200 Coon Rapids Blvd., Mpls., MN <br /> <br />\\Victoria\CommDev\Planning Files\309i _Rollins Leasing\RCA 02.14.00.doc <br /> <br />PF3091- RCA 02.14.00 Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br />~ <br />~0 <br />~\: <br />
