Any other store occupying the former Home Place area with mall hours, even a bingo hall, would be more acceptable. A Lund's grocery store closing at 10 p.m. would be a classic type we would surely patronize. My mend, Betty W olfangle, gave me a report ftom the Vista 2000 committee that made a study and formed a vision of what is best for Roseville. I quote the following ,out of context, that could easily apply to our area. "The concentration of hydro-carbons, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and other airborne particles must be measured, controlled or reduced in a symptomatit manner. Initial research indicates that concentration of these particles and gases have caused damage to the environment" Source of information: Minn. Pollution Control Agency. Research was done in reference to Hwy 36 and Snellling, also not far from our neighborhood. It also referred to the effect en the quality of life and the enjoyment of ones home. .
