The article seemed to give the impression that
those neighbors who are opposed to this project were organized under an umbrella the
article labeled as Roseville Residents for Responsible Redevelopment.

Neither Sandra nor I know anything of this orgar: ..3tion. The neighbors near us who
have also expressed their concern about Cub know nothing of this organization, as far
as we know. None of us know anyone who is associated with this group. They do not in
any way represent Sandra's and my views or the views of others we know.

Our purpose in writing this letter is to assure you and all members of the Council that our
concerns about Cub are rooted in our individual beliefs about the impact on our
neighborhood. Sandra and I neither welcome nor condone any group to represent us.
We especially do NOT want outsiders, who do not live within the neighborhood close to
Har Mar, imposing unrelated agendas on this project. Our concerns are with the quality
of this neighborhood as it relates to Har Mar, and nothing else. This view has been
expressed to the Business Editor at the Star Tribune, but it is doubtful doubt they will
print a correction.

Sandra and I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you and the entire Council
for the moratorium imposed on shopping center development when those facilities are
close to residential neighborhoods. This move will give ample opportunity for all parties
to create an environment of understanding and agreement which will benefit all
concerned. No doubt Bradley Real Estate was anxious to move ahead, so the courage
shown by you and the Council in slowing down the process is most appreciated. This
moratorium will, gratefully, allow the time for more careful consideration of all the issues
involved. Thank you very much for continuing interest and concern.

-;:~~~

Bruce M. Weber

i\
d~L\c. wJ--
Sandra K. Weber

~~
"^,,fY'
