If rails <br />are to be removed, the corridors should be preserved for public uses such <br />as light rail or pathways. <br /> <br />a) If there is a rail line abandonment in Roseville, an appropriate public <br />agency should acquire the land for public purposes. <br /> <br />b) Light rail planning should receive input from Roseville. Roseville <br />should preserve potential rights-of-way and station locations and <br />identify possible routes for tributary bus service. <br /> <br />c) Identify and work with the decision-makers on approved LR T routes <br />in Roseville. <br />Source: 1998 Compo Plan. Further, a map in Section 9, and in Appendix 12 <br />illustrates a cross community pathway parallel with the BN-County Road" Coo <br />rail line. <br /> <br />By virtue of the BN filing for abandonment of a portion of the County Road <br />"C" rail line from the Rollins Oil property to the west boundary of the City of <br /> <br />,^--CI\. <br />,~ <br />'J' <br />
