<br />Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />Board of Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority <br /> <br />Date: October 15, 1996 <br /> <br />No: R96-09 <br /> <br />RESOLVED, That the Director of Light Rail Transit <br />Planning and Ramsey County Attorney are authorized to negotiate <br />with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for the <br />acquisition of all or part of the BNSF east-west right of way <br />from M&D Junction to the west County line; and Be It Further <br /> <br />RESOLVED, That the Director of Light Rail Transit <br />Planning and Ramsey County Attorney are authorized to engage one <br />or more private real estate appraisers to determine the value of <br />all or part of the BNSF right of way from Beam Avenue to the <br />north County line; and the BNSF east-west right of way from M&D <br />Junction to Broadway Street; and Be It Furthe~ <br /> <br />RESOLVED, That Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority <br />authorizes the issuance of a request for proposals for selection <br />of a qualified land surveyor to perform a boundary survey and to <br />prepare an accurate certificate of survey and legal description <br />of all or part of the BNSF right of way from Beam Avenue to the <br />north County line; and the BNSF east-west right of way from M&D <br />Junction to Broadway Street; and Be It Further <br /> <br />RESOLVED, That Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority <br />authorizes the issuance of a request for proposals for selection <br />of a consultant to conduct a Phase I environmental assessment of <br />all or part of the BNSF right of way from Beam Avenue to the <br />north County line; and the BNSF east-west right of way from M&D <br />Junction to Broadway Street;iand Be It Further <br /> <br />. RESOLVED, That Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority <br />authorizes the issuance of a request for proposals for selection <br />of a private title or abstract company to identify all ownership <br />interests. in all or part of the following properties, and to <br />provide title insurance for the property upon acquisition: the <br />BNSF right of way from Beam Avenue to the north County line; and <br />the BNSF east-west right of way from M&D Junction to Broadway <br />Street; and Be It Further <br /> <br />RESOLVED, That Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority <br />authorizes staff of the Railroad Authority to initiate <br />discussions with Hennepin County staff about joint funding of <br />appraisals, surveys, environmental assessment and title work, <br />based on the acreage of the respective units of government. <br /> <br />RAMSEY COUNTY REGIONAL RAILROAD AUTHORITY <br />YEA NAY OTHER <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />John T.
