<br /> <br />Minnesota <br /> <br />Community Development Department <br /> <br />SETBACK PERMIT NOTES <br />MEETING #1 <br />March 25, 1999,3:30 p.m., City Council Chambers <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Thomas Paschke, Deb Bloom, Cathy Bennett, Don Munson <br /> <br />2. Carlson, John, 1240 Belair Circle: Permit to allow a 1.7 foot front yard <br />encroachment. <br /> <br />John Carlson present. He advised no neighborhood opposition; three foot setback at <br />rear of property turned down; Council suggested this process. Have taken l' off garage <br />side and l' off front of house. <br />Driveway slope 9.9; don't believe slope or grade will change; may berm back <br /> <br />DRC determined applicant met following eight points for approval of the application: <br />b, f, g, h, I, j, k and 1. <br /> <br />3. Moccia, Michael, 1169 Summer Street: Permit to allow a 3' side yard encroachment. <br /> <br />Michael Moccia was not present. <br /> <br />Ray and Mary Bergstrom, 1175 W. Summer, expressed concerns with the application <br />and gave the committee an outline of their points of opposition. <br />Expressed concern about proximity to their property, drainage issues, snow removal. <br /> <br />Committee tabled the application. <br />Michael Moccia advised City Planner Thomas Paschke that he was withdrawing his <br />application (3.26.99). <br /> <br />4. Dolle, Ronald, 3096 Cleveland Avenue: Permit to allow a 2' side yard encroachment. <br /> <br />Mr. Dolle was present. <br />City Planner Thomas Paschke advised the Council approved a minor subdivision for <br />the new property line into Jim Schrier's (Chas Cabinet) property (new property line 3' <br />south of building). <br /> <br />DRC determined applicant met following eight points for approval of the application: <br />b,e,f,g,h,I,j,k and 1. <br /> <br />Doug Strong advised a new legal description and warranty deed would need to be <br />drafted. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned 4:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Page 1 of1 <br /> <br />/' C\C\ <br />r-;-j) . <br />
