March 16, 1999

Dear Adjacent Property Owner:

You are cordially invited to attend the Roseville Development Review Committee's
(DRC) Setback Pennit Hearing on Thursday, March 25, at approximately 3:45 p.m in the
Roseville City Council Chambers.

Mr. Michael Moccia has petitioned for a Setback Permit to allow construction of a family
room addition onto his home at 1169 Summer Street. The required side yard setback for
a principal structure in a Single Family Residential District (R-l) for this particular
portion of the City is five (5) feet. The proposed addition would match the exterior wall
of the existing garage that is located two (2) feet from the side (west) property line or
three (3) foot into the required setback. A variance was granted in May of 1976 that
allowed the garage to be constructed in its current location.

The Setback Permit process allows adjacent property owners the opportunity to comment
on the proposal in writing or affords them time to comment at the hearing. Should you
have any comments or questions about this particular Setback Permit application, please
feel free to attend the meeting on Thursday, March 25 or provide them to my attention.
My direct number is 651-490-2236.

Sincerely

Thomas Paschke
CITY PLANNER
CITY of ROSEVILLE

attachments:
application, site plan, floor plan and elevations.

Q:\Planning Files\PF31 08_ Moccia\Resident Notice.doc
