Minimize conflicts between land uses. <br />Policies: Transitions between distinctly differing types of land uses should not create a negative <br />economic, social, or physical impact on adjoining developments. <br /> <br />Policy: Change in type of land use should occur so that similar uses front on the same street or <br />at borders of areas separated by major man-made or natural barriers. <br /> <br />(23) Residential Development Policy: Protect neighborhoods from activities which produce <br />excessive noise, dirt, odors or which generate heavy traffic.
