<br />Roseville has no center. <br /> <br />The City Center should be a series of buildings with lots of Chann <br />Like a European market area. <br /> <br />The infrastructure for the City Center should set the overall ambiance, establish the big <br />picture. <br /> <br />"City Center" is not the center of Roseville <br />County Road B and Dale Street is the Statistical population center ofRoseville. <br /> <br />Maplewood community pool popular facility. <br />Play pool - children <br />Lap pool - Diving - exercise <br />Wann pool- seniors <br />A pool is an important component of a community center and the City Center <br />Pedestrian bridges across Lexington and County Road C to Central Park so that families <br />can move freely around the City Center. <br /> <br />Roseville's physical attributes "Lack Chann". <br />Need input from Roseville residents. <br />Aesthetics will be an important concern of residents <br /> <br />Need to have collaboration in developing City Center. <br />Develop joint memberships with other cities. <br />Think oflinkages with St. Paul. <br /> <br />*Collaborate with school district. <br />City recreation programs can interface and coordinate with school day. <br />School bus linkage from school to community center/Central Park. 70% of Roseville <br />grade school students participate in City sponsored after school programs. <br /> <br />* Adequate pathways and general accessibility should be an important goal of the City <br />Center <br /> <br />*Community Center <br /> <br />*Safety - Pedestrian crossings, either controlled at grade or above grade. <br />Adequate lighting to make the City Center feel safe at night. <br />
