The following is
a partial list of musical events:

I p.m. - Kevin Thomas, acoustic rock and blues.

2 p.m. - Dean Buetler. folk rock.

3 p.m. - Andie Cortes, classical guitar.

4 p.m. - Brenda DeJurdin & Thomas Tremblay, new
americana mix with folk and alternative.

7 - II p.m. - The Cooders and Mindless Conception.
plus two more bands.

For 15-year-old Nate Fritz and 14-year-old Stephen
Fraenkel finding a place to be is as easy as going to
the garage.

That is if it's the "Garage" in Burnsville.

Recently, both Nate and Stephen showed up at the
new teen facility to volunteer their time to help.

"It's a good place to be and once word gets out I think
it will be real popular," said Stephen, his voice rising
over the sound ofOzzie Osborne's "Ironman" on the
stereo. "I like it here."

In the works for more than two years, the Garage is
the newest teen hangout to open in the city -- with a
difference.

The difference being the Garage is officially
sanctioned as a place where teens can go to have fun,

~{'f
,,~,'f.'':''~
;".t ,...-....
L~,.a.I
,rr
iUown
aenter

IOther Papers: Jtf
;t.
