Box 416 <br />Forest Lake, MN 55025 <br /> <br />RE: Proposed Roseville Town Home Development. <br /> <br />Dear Erin: <br /> <br />On Wednesday, June 9, the Roseville Development Review Committee (DRC) met to <br />discuss Mendota Homes proposed town house development east of Old Highway 8 and <br />west of Highway 88. Given the potential of the unique shaped lot, the DRC developed <br />some alternatives they would like to see considered and/or implemented into the <br />development proposal. These items are as follows: <br /> <br />~ Because of the two different jurisdictions that will service the development upon <br />its completion, there should be a distinct difference between structures and lots. <br />It is requested that the preliminary plat include a subdivision that accounts for <br />two units in St. Anthony and 10 units in Roseville. <br /> <br />\'I /' ~ \t <br />\\)i\\.\ 't~ \ <br />h S~"~ <br />if ~v .~ <br />\. ~\v\Y \4 '.\'J" ~ It is suggested that decks and patios be incorporated into the design of the <br />~~ '\:~ projec~. These accessory spaces should be indicated on the site plan and <br />\Y""')( X c..,~\i\ elevatlOns. <br /> <br />\p~ ~ ~'.,)- Utilities sh ught down the access drive, which is required to be a <br />, S ~~\.-~ minimum 0 24 feet wid. This <br />~I Q.tO""'~ will allow for a greater separation between this development and the complex to <br />t)~~~ \p the south, as well a greater allowance of yard space for the units themselves. <br /> <br />)(0 ~ It is suggested that the design of the units take on the characteristics of those town <br />homes located in St. Anthony as well as roofvariations/access, building shifts and <br />building heights.
