<br />4. The additional signage will not exceed the code requirement allowed in the B-3 General <br />Business District. Section 1009 .08E allows a maximum of 100 square feet for a pylon sign. <br />The existing (28.8 square feet) and proposed (20.64 square feet) signage equals 49.44 square <br />feet, which is 50 percent of the maximum allowed for a pylon sign in a B-3 General Business <br />District. <br /> <br />5. The proposed variance, if granted, will not adversely affect the public health, safety, or <br />general welfare, provided standards/conditions are attached to insure that <br />redevelopment of the site is completed in accordance with the plans proposed by the <br />applicant. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") ofthe City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota (the "City"), Ramsey County, Minnesota, that a variance to reduce the front <br />yard setback from 30 feet to zero feet (30 foot variance) for the purpose of allowing the existing <br />sign and pylon pole and attachment of additional signage for property located at 1935 Rice Street <br />be approved, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />A. The height of the sign be no lower that nine (9) feet from the ground; and <br /> <br />B. The square footage of the signage on the existing pylon pole be no greater than 50 <br />square feet unless approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: and <br />the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />Page 2 of2 <br />
