Hamline Ave. <br /> <br />Application received 1/31/90 requesting variances as follows: <br /> <br />1) As to the east (main) parking lot, the requirement that the parking lot along <br />Eldridge Ave be removed and concrete curbs installed 15' back from the <br />property line; <br />2) The requirement that the driveway openings be no greater than 26' and that <br />curb and gutters be placed along driveway entrance; <br />3) The requirement that paving on the City right of way in the southeast corner of <br />the property be removed and replaced with sod, which apparently was done by <br />the City of Roseville and should be removed by them; <br />4) The requirement that a concrete curb be installed along the entire south edge of <br />the existing parking lot. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Report: March 7,1990 <br />PF 2055, Variance to parking setback and curb requirement <br />Planning Commission continued to April 4, 1990. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Meeting of April 4, 1990: <br /> <br />Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of variances to parking <br />setback and curb requirements with the condition that the parking lot be brought up to <br />Code within a five year period and that the design details be worked out with the City <br />staff. <br /> <br />City Council Meeting of April 23, 1990: <br /> <br />Thomas moved, Cushman seconded, that the Church of St Rose of Lima request for <br />variance to parking setback and curb requirements at 2048 N. Hamline be approved <br />with the following conditions: <br /> <br />(1) That the parking lot be brought up to Code within a five year period; <br />(2) That the design details be worked out with City staff <br /> <br />Ayes: 5 <br />Nays: 0 <br /> <br />(On May 11,1990 RickJopke wrote a letter to Mary Jo Dolan at the Church advising her <br />of the City Council's action on April 23, 1990) <br />
