Willis President Mr. Steve Sarkozy City Manager City of Roseville 2660 Civic Center Drive Roseville, MN 55113 Dear Mr. Sarkozy: I would like to thank you and Mayor Wall for the time that you spent with u's in discussing our possible plans for the future development of our Roseville Campus. As I indicated, we are concerned about the impression people get as they enter Roseville from the north, driving down the Snelling Avenue corridor. Immediately after the sign welcoming people to Roseville looms an abandoned gas station building. We would like to change that. We envision developing an attractive office building on the property we own located on the southwest corner of the Lydia/Snelling intersection. This building would house offices and radio studios for KTIS/Northwestern College Radio and office space for Presbyterian Homes. We envision a building that would replace the abandoned gas station in accordance with the "South Campus Development" plan. " This building would be in substantial agreement with the existing PUD. We would like 1:0 kno:w if the proposed elements correspond closely enough to the original concepts to move ahead with securing building permits, or if we need to plan more time for appropriate hearings. () The concept provides a building that both aesthetically and functionally is c,Ol~patible with the existing an~ planned buildings in the vicinity. It would be an attractive greeting for people driving south into Roseville and should have minimal vehicular traffic impact. We would like to design a facility in accordance with the following elements. · We will confirm that the existing on-site storm water detention basin is sufficient for the proposed usage.
