<br />Appeal Against the Setback Permit for 2940 Old Highway 8 <br /> <br />We do not understand why the garage is set at an angle. The angle is <br />inconsistent with the current style of the house and other properties on Old <br />Highway 8, and doesn't seem to provide any more garage space than if the <br />garage were parallel to the property line. It is not clear to us why the <br />additional living space to the house could not be placed behind the garage, <br />with the garage placed farther forward on the property. The three newest <br />houses on Old Highway 8 have that style of garage. <br /> <br />Is it also necessary for the garage to be 2.5 units wide?
